The Law Office of Kit Applegate helps individuals, families, and businesses in New Jersey with their legal needs.
Mr. Applegate started his legal career at a large firm in 2001 as a business lawyer handling litigation matters. In 2009, he ventured out and started his own law practice. Today, he represents small to medium-size businesses, helping them handle the variety of legal issues that businesses face today, from drafting and reviewing contracts, suing or defending lawsuits, to selling or buying another business.
The relationships Mr. Applegate developed with those business owners led to him handling a number of personal matters for them. And, now in addition to representing businesses, Mr. Applegate also represents individuals and families who need help with buying or selling real estate, estate planning, estate administration, or other common legal needs.
Originally from California, Mr. Applegate graduated from the University of Redlands in 1998. He then moved to New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers Law School in 2001. He chose to stay in New Jersey, where he met his wife and married. Today, they each juggle their time between full-time careers and raising their three wonderful children.
